“I began with agricultural studies. I then did my Masters in Development Management in Harvard. For my PhD I compared five NGO's - three Christian and two Muslim - to see if they were doing development as their primary aim as a good in itself, or whether they had another motive, to convert. I concluded that they all had another agenda as well as development work.
‘This isn’t a time for evangelizing, for converting. This is a time for dialogue, for listening to each other, to people from all faiths and to people with no faith. For this reason I don’t like the word ‘Interfaith’, because it excludes the people with no faith. We have to listen to every voice.”
